National Apprenticeship Week 2022
In celebration of National Apprenticeship Week, we would like to congratulate our Apprentices and say thank you to MACNY for supporting our Apprenticeship Program.
A New Addition to Our 5-Axis Capabilities
On 3/14/2022 we will receive a new MAZAK HCR-5000, 5-axis horizontal machining center. This machine will be our 4th 5-axis machining center and will expand our capabilities to larger parts and allow for higher throughput due to it's 2-pallet changer.
CNC Lathe Operator
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC lathes.
- Inspection of machined parts using micrometers, calipers, etc.
- Deburring of machined parts.
- Maintaining a clean work area and machines.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Some knowledge of G and M-codes. (Desired but not required)
- Capable of using measuring instruments. (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Willingness to work overtime, 50 hours per week minimum.
- Ability to read and write English.
- Proficient in basic math.
